Valerio Villani
Since 1998, Valerio Villani has lived and worked in Viterbo, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Painting and later a Master's degree in Computer Design. Over the years, he has been selected for major contemporary art events in Italy and across Europe, including Basilio Cascella, Enegan-Art, Premio Palladio, Geni Comuni, London Calling, and Art Is Now London.
As a professional artist, he has also extended his creativity into the world of editorial illustration. He explores visual storytelling through editorial training courses, including the Entry-Level course at Ars in Fabula. He collaborates with various publishers on both cover illustrations and fully illustrated children's and young adult stories.
His latest works include The Emperor's New Clothes and Pinocchio for Chiaredizioni, Freedom (a selection of illustrated poems by Federico García Lorca), and Talking with... Luigi Tenco for Balzano Editore.
His works are currently exhibited in London, Berlin, Austria, and Switzerland. He has also been featured in international magazines such as Average Art, Art Hole, Working Artist, Contemporary Visual Art Magazine, Visual Art Journal, and ArteoMagazine, and has appeared four times in the annual Authors of Images in Italy.
